The relational dimension until now has been recognized as a distinctive factor of women in business.This work, on the other hand, aims to examine it from a business perspective, increasing an understanding of the implications associated with the development of relationships with external people, as well as the knowledge of the resources and contributions they can provide prior to the start-up phase of the company.This survey identifies, through the interpretative model of C.A.O.S., the nature of the needs, which are predominantly expressed by entrepreneurs in the SME dimensionand also looks at how they are met, with the aim of identifying more effective alternatives.The C.A.O.S. model (an Italian acronym for caratteristiche personali, ambiente, organizzazione, and start-ups) based on four variables: the personal characteristics of the entrepreneur, that identify the personal element (C), the environment in which the micro-enterprise operates, that identify the macro-economic element (A), the organizational and managerial aspects, that identify the micro-economic element (O), and the motivations for starting a new business and the particular stage in which the SME is observed, that identify the temporal element (S).
